The Summer Solos initiative by CreaPlay, a TedEd student talks recognized program, aims to provide students aged 5-18 the ability to create from scratch a monologue performance between 3 to 15 minutes over a period of 20 online sessions and 5 offline rehearsals. The 25 instructor-led sessions will culminate in a public show. Summer Solos is not just a summer camp but an avenue for students to take ownership over their stories they put out and also a safe channel to have their voice heard. Students will create their own monologues- with options to include elements like mime, music, dance and other arts to explore and hone their creativity.
